2023 has arrived! A new year, filled with hope for a slowing pandemic and furthering our return to life with social gatherings and travel. While January is filled with goal setting and planning for the year ahead, I find it equally important to spend time reflecting on the previous year’s efforts and lessons learned. Acknowledging mistakes helps to move past old behaviors that no longer serve us, creating space for opportunities that drive impactful change. Celebrating accomplishments helps refresh our energy and reconfirm our commitment to the pursuit of positive progress!

    Celebrating Key Milestones

2022 was an exciting year for Quinsite! We kicked it off by closing a $2.5 million seed round led by veteran RTP-based investor Jeff Clark, bringing a dynamic mix of angel and institutional investors into the fold (including Front Porch Ventures, North Carolina Venture Fund, and Triangle Tweener Fund).

We marked our 5th anniversary with an in-person retreat for our amazing team, who work virtually from all over the state of North Carolina AND across the country. Quinsite was also honored to appear on the Triangle Tweener List for a second year, selected as a top technology company in the Southeast to present at Venture Atlanta FORWARD, and recognized as an NC TECH Awards finalist both for Biotech/Healthtech and Data/AI Analytics categories.

    Growing Demand and Market Expansion

Operationally, it was a busy year, with over 50% growth in our customer base as well as annual recurring revenue (ARR). Quinsite has maintained 0% churn, now serving 47 customers across 23 states coast-to-coast, including 38 of the top 100 U.S. radiology practices. Building on our success in radiology, we launched a pilot program for 4 pathology practices supported by expertise from HBP Services, Inc., a highly regarded pathology revenue cycle management advisory firm, as well as the Panel of National Pathology Leaders, a think-tank dedicated to best practices in pathology and laboratory medicine.

To support this growth, we expanded our team by 60%, investing in customer success, data engineering, marketing, and human resource management. Our team represents people of all ages and includes over 50% women, several of whom are women of color. We pride ourselves in sustaining a people-centered culture that fosters equity, inclusion, mutual respect, gratitude, and forward-thinking policies.

    Improving Client Value

We continue to invest heavily in our Comprehensive Healthcare Analytics Platform™ to ensure future scalability by standardizing solutions and processes to facilitate increased quality of service and ease of implementation. In addition, we launched new features to improve user experience and empower user independence while increasing the overall value potential to customers.

    Partnering For Success

Strong partnerships are key for Quinsite’s ongoing success. Our long-standing partnership with the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) expanded to include a refresh and management of their AR and compensation surveys as well as the upcoming launch of a new customizable survey tool aimed at helping physician practices capture and track patient satisfaction, referring provider satisfaction, partner facility service satisfaction, and more. The survey tool launch encompasses added collaboration with our innovative partner Strategic Radiology, a nationwide coalition of radiology practices.

    Looking Ahead

The Quinsite team is so proud of what we accomplished in 2022, and even more proud of what we helped our customers accomplish with a growing (and glowing!) list of success stories around improved productivity, turnaround times, capacity planning, patient care, partner value-adds and so much more.

2023 is off to a running start, and we are so excited about our plans for this year! Here are a just a few examples of what is already in the works:
